For the last month I’ve been eating solid(ish) foods. At the moment I have two meals of real food and the rest is milk. Soon I’m going to be having a real breakfast as well.
I just thought that I’d list what I’ve had so far (in chronological order):
- Carrot
- Potato
- Chicken
- The above in different combinations
- Banana
- Apple
- Apple & cinnamon
- Papaya
- Sweet Potato
- Avocado
I don’t like chicken very much and banana and sweet potato are my favourites. I’ve now had avocado twice and I think that that’s going to be a favourite as well.
Mummy read that the first two months of eating solid food is vary important as it is the time when I most appreciate new flavours so the plan is to try and give me as many new foods as possible. Courgette is the next new thing on the cards along with pumpkin (if we can get it). My doctor said that green vegetables are the most difficult for me to digest but if we want to try then go for it. This means that broccoli and spinach are on the horizon.
Most of my foods are puréed although banana and avocado are squished with a fork. This gives me different textures to try and I’m getting very good at eating lumps - small lumps of course.
The photo was taken at lunch today and you can see that I enjoy wearing my food as well as eating it. I also like feeling the different foods as well; something that Mummy and Daddy encourages as it helps my development. Everything does eventually clean up!
Until next time, bye bye.

Hi Matthew
I’m very excited as I am coming to Spain on holiday soon. I have lots of new clothes and some sun glasses. My mum would like to know what you mummy and daddy do when mosquito’s are around, she is worried they may bite my precious skin.
We arrive on 24th April and we are staying at Grandpa’s house for two weeks. You look gorgeous and I would love to meet you.
Bye bye Mailda xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

We only had a mosquito plugin in the bedroom last summer. We didn’t have any problems outside because I was indoors when the mosquitoes came out - usually asleep. This year Mummy said we can use a mosquito net to put over my pushchair if there is a problem.
Can’t wait to see you later this month.
Matthew
