The Life of Matthew

So what do these three songs/hymns have in common?

If you said that they are sung at sporting events you would be right. You’ll Never Walk Alone is Liverpool FC’s anthem, Abide With Me is sung at every F.A. Cup and Jerusalem is the England Rugby Union supporter’s song.

This is not the answer I was looking for. The thing that they have in common is that I fall asleep if Daddy sings them to me. (He has to sing all three). So what does this mean? Do I find sporting songs boring? Do I find comfort in these particular songs? Do I find Daddy’s voice comforting or I was tired and would have fallen asleep anyway?
