The Life of Matthew

This afternoon I was allowed to go home. We left the clinic around lunchtime after I had had my bath and Mummy and Daddy had done some paper work and thanked all of the wonderful doctors, nurses, staff and my midwife.

I was so excited about going home that I promptly fell asleep when Daddy put me in the car seat. I slept all of the way home and most of the afternoon.

When I woke I had a bit of food, found out that the dog Daddy has been taking for walks is a Black Labrador called Maxime who is facinated by me although he isn’t too sure if I am a toy or what. I then went to sleep again.

I woke up again when I heard Mummy say “Right, I’m off to bed.” I’ve been changed, had a really big feed, regurgitated some of it over myself, Mummy and the sofa, been changed again and we are all now going off for our first night as a family at home.
